Where are the doors handles? All Tesla Models have flush door handles that require some sort of interaction to make them work. The Model S handles are flush, and as you approach the car with the key on your person, they automatically “present” to you and illuminate, where you grab them and open the door. The Model 3 is not as complex, it has flush handles that unlock when you approach with your phone or "key", you press that thick part of the handle, and pull on the skinny part. The Model X is the show stopper for all door operations, the rear doors open upwards in a modified gullwing door fashion called falcon doors. The front doors will automatically kick open when you approach the vehicle with the key on your person, and after you are seated in the driver seat, you press the brake pedal, and the door automatically shuts!
