The “new” 2018+ version of autopilot and soon Fully Self Driving is really advanced, this version has a lot more cameras and new hardware! It can make turns on and off roads based on your navigating route. It can see traffic light colors and make decisions to proceed or stop based off the light color, reads speed limit signs and adjusts accordingly, they can make lane changes on multiple lane freeways to move to faster moving lanes. One unknown feature about following radar is the Tesla is constantly shooting radar under the car in front of you, to read what 2 cars ahead of you is doing, you will often see Teslas avoid traffic pile ups because of this!
